Recording made in Périgueux, biggest city in Dordogne, France, with 30.000 inhabitants.

Little city, then, which allows us to hear the birds (it's clearly day but we still can hear night birds), the wind in the trees and the continuous hum of the city in the morning.

Recorded from behind a house, in the garden, so the sounds of the city itself can be heard at a distance.

I find the mix between the strong wind and the continuous drone of the cars passing by quite interesting. Some elements come by to alter the sounds, making the ambiance nearly surrealistic sometimes.
